August 11, 2021The team at Gray Analytics has a passion for supporting our local community through financial donations and service. Through our community giving initiative, Gray Gives, we’ve been able to support several non-profit organizations, programs, community events and other causes that are near and dear to our hearts. Each quarter, our employees have the opportunity to select a non-profit organization or a cause to receive a monetary donation from Gray Analytics. In the second quarter of 2021, our employees nominated Columbia Academy, Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Redstone-Huntsville chapter, Quilts of Valor, Disabled American Veterans, and Legal Education Access Pipeline (LEAP).
Columbia Academy Science Department’s mission is to cultivate successful learning opportunities for its students to help them become responsible and valuable members of their community. Founded in 1991, the academy’s main focus is helping students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Association of the United States Army (AUSA) is a nonprofit educational and professional development association serving America’s Army and the supporters of a strong national defense. They provide a voice for the Army and honor those who have served as well as helping soldiers, civilians and families who work alongside them in the local community. The Redstone-Huntsville chapter is one of the Nation’s largest with more than 8,000 members. Nationally, the foundation contributes over $5,000,000 annually to awards, scholarships, and support of soldier and family programs.
Quilts of Valor’s mission is to cover service members and Veterans touched by war with comforting and healing Quilts of Valor. Founded in 2003, the foundation’s core value is to construct quality hand or machine-made quilts for those who have sacrificed and served our Nation.
Disabled American Veterans is a non-profit charity that provides lifetime support for Veterans of all generations and their families each year. The organization empowers Veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity as well as ensuring Veterans and their families can access the full range of benefits available to them.
Legal Education Access Pipeline’s mission is to diversify the legal profession by preparing underrepresented students to become successful law school applicants, lawyers and agents of social change. LEAP’s program is designed to prepare participants for a successful career in law by helping them apply to law school and flourish in their legal communities.
In honor of their second birthday, Gray Analytics matched all monetary donations gifted to LEAP during the month of May. Together, we were able to raise $10,000 to support aspiring law students.
Our company is grateful to help support these organizations as they continue their vital work in the community. We’re thankful for employees that strive to improve their community and the lives of the individuals that live in it.
