China Exploiting Supply Chain Vulnerabilities
December 9, 2020The Top 25 Cybersecurity Companies Of 2020
December 23, 2020This year has been taxing for individuals and businesses across the world. The COVID-19 pandemic illuminated insecurities in process and procedures across a variety of industries, challenged our society’s way of life and enlightened many to new ways of thinking, working and living. Although 2020 presented our team with challenges we couldn’t have foreseen, we are thankful to have had a successful year. Our year in review shows a few of our accomplishments from 2020 at a glance.
We began the year working with the Department of Defense to improve cybersecurity measures and hypersonics defense capabilities. We also expanded into new geographic markets by opening a second office in Los Angeles, California.
In March, our world was turned upside down with the onset of the COVID-19 virus. Our offices shut down completely, and we were faced with the challenge of learning how to work remotely while staying secure. Our team worked hard to put the most effective security measures in place so that we could protect our clients while keeping ourselves and our families safe.
While working remotely, our team began work on our first prime government contract, a Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR), and worked alongside partners SAP NS2 to host a virtual hackathon, strengthening our ChainShieldTM supply chain intelligence platform.
Our team saw a series of big wins this summer. We hosted a drive-by summer bash to celebrate our employees’ hard work during the unprecedented times while following CDC guidelines. We celebrated two years of Gray Analytics on our company’s second birthday and named Scott Gray president. We also welcomed former U.S. Attorney Jay Town as our Vice President and General Counsel.
By fall, Gray Analytics received official acknowledgement of Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Registered Provider Organization (CMMC RPO) certification, which verifies our ability to consult and implement tactics to ensure CMMC compliance for our clients. We began working with a variety of companies spanning a variety of industries to inspect their cybersecurity hygiene and implement procedures to prepare them for compliance based on industry standards.
We were called upon by several local and national media outlets to offer our expertise on trending industry discussions, such as Tik Tok, supply chain security and, most recently, ransomware attacks. We also teamed up with SAP NS2 to discuss supply chain security in their NS2 NOW Virtual Summit.
We ended the year with another socially-distance friendly, drive-in movie event to celebrate the holidays and our employees that made the year such a success.
Leading into the new year, Gray Analytics plans to expand our team with a vast recruitment campaign, prepare a go-to-market strategy for the ChainShieldTM platform and launch many more new and exciting projects. We look forward to leading conversations around trending industry topics and showcasing our team’s subject matter expertise and capabilities.
The team at Gray Analytics sets us apart from companies across the Nation, and the success of our company is attributed to each employee’s dedication, expertise and hard work. As our company continues to grow, we know our workforce will continually push us to new heights through the way they lead with integrity, lean on one another, and most importantly, put our clients first.
