Position: Information System Security Officer Computer Information Systems Engineer

Location: Huntsville, AL

Position Description:

Gray Analytics is a technical consulting and solutions provider for our customers. We are seeking to hire senior and mid-level engineers to provide support to our growing Hypersonics business area. With current activities providing support to defense, space, cyber and commercial fields; Gray Analytics mission is to provide exceptional services/products to meet our customers' needs.

Selected candidates will support testing and engineering analysis of hypersonic programs. Current efforts will focus on developing Modeling & Simulations M&S, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery CI/CD, and Hard-Ware In-The-Loop HWIL test capabilities.

The candidate will support the customer both locally in Huntsville Alabama, as well as provide support at multiple test venue locations across the United States. Most of the work will be performed in an office environment but will also include time at integration laboratories and hypersonic test facilities.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems Engineering or equivalent field from an ABET accredited school is required. Salary Considerations will be based on technical qualifications and experiences.
  • The ideal candidate would have experience related to design, integration, simulation, test, and analysis of missile systems in Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery CI/CD and/or Hard-Ware In-The-Loop HWIL environments.
  • Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or be willing to relocate to the North Alabama area.
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen with a current US DoD Secret Clearance or possess/meet the eligibility requirements to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Desired Qualifications:

  • ISSO experience for HWIL or other lab environment connected to external labs using classified test networks
  • ISSO experience for an Agile Software CI/CD Pipeline development environment
  • Intimate knowledge of NIST 800-53 requirements and DISA STIGs
  • Managed security posture of systems using HPE Synergy capabilities and VMWare virtual machines
  • Managed security posture of systems using Software Build Automation and Deployment tools Ansible, Vagrant, Puppet, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes etc.
  • Managed security posture of systems using Software Development Life Cycle SDLC tools Git, GitLab, JIRA, Jenkins
  • Managed security posture of systems using Security Information & Event Management SEIM Tools e.g. Elastic Endpoint Security, Splunk
  • CISSP, CISM, and/or CISA Certification
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with clear communication
  • Able to contribute technical expertise throughout the system lifecycle including design, integration, test, and delivery to operations
  • Organizational and Interpersonal skills to design, develop, integrate, and test CI/CD and/or HWIL capabilities are part of a larger team
  • Experience with On-line Collaboration tools e.g. TEAMS, Sharepoint, Zoom
