Position: Aerospace/Mechanical Engineer - Hypersonics

Location: Huntsville, AL

Position Description:

Gray Analytics is a Technical Consulting and Solutions provider for our customers. We are seeking to hire senior, junior, and entry level engineers to provide support to our growing hypersonics business area. With current activities providing support to defense, space, cyber and commercial fields; Gray Analytics mission is to provide exceptional services and products to meet our customers' needs.

Selected candidates will support engineering analysis and testing of hypersonic programs including defensive, offensive, or commercial systems. Current efforts will focus on analyzing and planning for complex Modeling & Simulations, Ground Testing, and Hard-Ware In-The-Loop testing.

The candidate will support the customer both locally in Huntsville, Alabama, and at multiple test venue locations across the United States. Most of the work will be performed in an office environment but will also include time at integration laboratories and hypersonic test facilities.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field from an ABET accredited school is required. Salary considerations will be based on technical qualifications and experiences.
  • The ideal candidate would have experience related to design and or test of missile systems.
  • The following skills and abilities are desired:
    • Design and integration of missile component and Hard-Ware In-The-Loop test equipment.
    • Organizational skills to develop test and analysis plans, modeling and simulations, data reduction and analysis, and uncertainty analysis.
  • Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or be willing to relocate to the North Alabama area.
  • Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen with a current U.S. DoD Secret Clearance or possess/meet the eligibility requirements to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
